I have been a “Research Fellow” at the Federal Reserve Bank of Saint Louis since 2004. Prior to that I visited the St. Louis Fed for extended periods of time in 2002 and 2003. I was also a visiting researcher at the Bank of Canada in 1999 and 2003. Recently, I have worked as a “time series” consultant for Macroeconomic Advisers. As of 2007, I have just joined the Executive Committee of the Society for Nonlinear Dynamics and Econometrics. In addition, I have been involved in the organization of the three conferences listed below:
14th Annual Symposium of the Society for Nonlinear Dynamics and Econometrics, March 24-25, 2006, local organizer, sponsored by the Weidenbaum Center, the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, and Washington University Economics Department [pdf]
Nonlinearity and the Business Cycle, August 5-6, 2004, organizer, sponsored by the Weidenbaum Center [pdf]
State-Space Models, Regime-Switching, and Identification, May 10-11, 2002, co-organized with Jeremy Piger, sponsored by the Weidenbaum Center and the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis [pdf]
